I just built my first computer and it worked flawlessly for 2 weeks with no issues. Over the last 3 weeks however, I am constantly having internet connection issues. My internet constantly disconnects and I have to close it and reopen it only to have it disconnect again 2 or 3 minutes later. I solved the problem at first by using Firefox instead of IE8, but now Firefox is having the same issues. It is not a provider issue, I have checked. Lately, I have been using the Restore to an earlier point option, but within 24 hours the problem occurs again. The only connection to the problem and cause I have been able to make is it seems to occur right after the automatic updates are installed overnight. However, it will go several days without any issues and then "bam!!" the problem pops up again. I have checked for viruses, trojans, spyware, etc and the system is clean. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
