I've got two different computers, and old one running Windows XP with Internet Explorer 7 and a brand new one using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. It doesn't matter where I go on the web, after a few minutes the memory being used starts going up and
goes up over one gigabyte. Two computers, one set up the same way for years and only started doing this in the last year, the other, brand new, fresh copy of Windows 7, doing it virtually straight out of the box. I've added no new add ons,
I've gone through all the remedies I've found listed, and ran several virus, spyware, malware, and grayware detection programs. Does anyone out have a clue what may be causing this or know of a program that can tell me what Internet Explorer is doing
to use up so much memory or a way to limit the amount of memory used by Internet Explorer? I can be on one Internet Explorer Window, but task manager shows iexplorer.exe running three seperate instances, with one of the rapidly increasing. The page here
is already using up 150 Megabutes and there's not that much going on.
