My aging father in-law has failing eyesight, and has difficulty seeing and using the Internet Explorer icons, pull-down menus, and the cursor. Surely he is not the only person who has this problem! A lot of elderly people use computers. (I showed him how to enlarge the icons slightly and how to use Fn-space to magnify the screen display, but these fixes are not sufficient. I also love the low-tech suggestion in the discussion threads: Pull the screen closer to yourself!) It would be great if Microsoft would design a version of their internet browser for visually-impaired users who really need MUCH larger icons and menus. Microsoft: Please send the check for devising this fantastic idea to my bank account, okay?
