Real Player and I.E.9

I have Windows Explore 9 on my dell vostro 400 o/s is Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Real player suddenly stopped inviting the download of videos ( in U Tube) I'm not sure when this happened, but the prog has been working o.k. for the last year and I have downloaded many vids to I Tunes via this method.Real player preferences says " enable recording from the following browser" but only lists W.E.9 and not Mozilla Firefox that I use. I have tried to do a restore point exercise but my system lists no restore point to return to, so I made one for that day 28th June 2012. I have tried uninstalling  and reinstalling both WE 9 and realplayer with no success. I have followed Real player's advice that it works with either 64 bit or 32 bit o/s and Firefoxes advice to disable the add-on real Player record etc. Real player help eventually  taught me how to right click on the video and copy/paste to a new browser via their program's logo>file>new>new web browser, paste in copied url and click go which opens vid and presto! there's "download this video" etc and so to my I tunes. But all this was working o.k. before; I have spent a hair- tearing couple of days on this and am headed for the divorce courts.Anyone out there can help? Sholly 2
