Hi, I have an issue with IE 8 after an XP-PRO SP3 repair install? I did not realize that I had to uninstall IE8 and IE7 as a prerequisite to the repair install. I tried everything! I even tried to Change the registry setting as to allow a install of IE6 per Microsoft site, but to no avail. I get the you have a newer version installed will stop message. Is there a repair app to fix this problem? I really do not want to do a clean install if I can avoid it. IE8 opens and closes right away?
