We're working on a strategy to lock down our IE 8 and IE 9 users to protect ourselves from the latest Java exploits. Our organization wants to disable Java in IE and use the strategy noted in
http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/how-to-disable-java-internet-explorer/. We do need to allow access to specific sites that use Java that we deem safe however we don't exactly know how to configure IE to do this. I don't see a setting that is so granular
that we could allow access to only specific web sites that are Java-enabled. Is IE smart enough to detect this?
