All,
When launching a Flash video in full screen mode while using dual monitors, the video freezes to still frame on the second monitor. This happens in mirrored and extended screen modes. The video continues to play normally on the first screen, and the audio continues normally as well. This does not happen when using other browsers, e.g. Firefox.
I have the latest windows updates, so Flash should be fully updated. To me this seems to be a software issue, not a memory or hardware issue. To be clear, the video doesn't stutter; rather it freezes to a still frame. I didn't have this problem using internet explorer with the same setup before I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8. Here's my setup:
Windows 8. Internet Explorer 10.
Asus laptop connected to an HD LED T.V. screen via HDMI. (Audio transmits through the HDMI cord and out the T.V. speakers normally.)
GeForce GT650M graphics card.
Core i7, and 8 GB RAM.
What do you think is going on? Any troubleshooting ideas? Thank you.
