Hi All!
I had an old Vista machine that I had recently upgraded to Win 8 Pro. Unfortunately the HD just died, so rather than buy a new HD, I splurged and bought a new PC.
Having just unpacked the new Windows 8 Pro box, I set it up to use my MS account. I noticed that it automatically pulled in a Favorites list that I used to use about 4 years ago. It must have been saved on the old Win 8 machine and then somehow saved into my MS account???
I searched through my MS account settings but was unable to find a saved list of Favorites anywhere.
Does anyone know where I can find this list in my MS account so I can update it? I understand that I can just modify through the Favorites folder, etc... but I am wondering where it came from to begin with. I imagine it is sitting in the cloud somewhere.
I have read that only a Win 8 machine will allow you to save Favorites between computers in this manner so I use DropBox to "sync" my favorites list between multiple computers as my work machine is a Win 7 box.
Thanks for any tips!
