Hello. We have Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7. Recently, Youtube announced that their videos were no longer compatible with our current setup and we had to install a new program in order to watch videos. I attempted to install an updated version of Adobe's
flash player, but it didn't work. So I installed Google's chrome frame and it seemed fine. However, Hulu said almost the same thing, so I tried to install Adobe's flash player again. This time I was successful. Afterwards, there were some mild issues afterwards.
Such as it would be difficult going to YouTube. Feeling that Google's chrome frame was unnecessary, seeing as I installed the flash player update, I uninstalled it. Ever since then, things have been a little different. Certain websites take a while to load
and hang, particularly when there's a bunch of ads or something. It's not that it just freezes and becomes totally unresponsive, it just takes a long time to load. Other times, like if it's on a simple website, it works fine. I've done several virus scans
from Norton and Microsoft and found nothing suspicious. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Thanks!
