Recently I've accidentally downloaded an addon that I didn't want. I've followed many steps, including the steps from the website I've downloaded it from and have also searched in the Windows tools button.
The problem is that it won't come off, it doesn't seem to be a regular addon either.
I've already tried going to tools, clicked on the addon, and clicked disable to attempt to disable it. The disable button is greyed out. I've also tried uninstalling the application via "Programs and Features", but the problem still exists for some reason. I have even pulled up "more information" of the addon and traced it back to where it supposedly is, however some of the files it's listing doesn't even exist. I had tried to install the addon again from the website so I could uninstall it because I thought I had missed a step while uninstalling it the first few initial times. And today, I desperately thought I could delete Internet Explorer as a whole and just simply reinstall it, that's when I learned it's impossible to reinstall Internet Explorer.
I need to find a way to manually disable this addon, I'm running a Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9.
It's that much of a problem. The addon is named "Deal Cabby", if you search it on google, you may find their website.
