Hello,
about a year ago I had a nasty virus on my computer that disabled the antivirus and disabled Internet explorer until I found a fix to remove the virus. Unfortunately I can't recall the name of the virus.
Anyway, in my main windows 7 user (the administrator user) Internet explorer no longer works and I can't figure out why and can't figure out how to repair it. Updating the version of IE to Internet Explorer 9 didn't work. IE works in the guest user though but I can't see any differences in the settings. Firefox works in both users but there are programs that I have on my computer that require Internet explorer to work (Starcraft 2, Bioshock 2, Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City are some examples)
I've been able to get around some problems by playing these games in the guest user instead of the main user but I still need this problem fixed and I would appreciate any help given.
My internet explorer self-diagnostics say:

perhaps that helps some. I don't fully understand what I'm reading and don't know how to proceed. My internet service provider couldn't help me either in fixing this a while ago...
kind regards,
Chris
