IE 10 Client Certificate Authentication issues

Hello,

I’m performing a Windows 8 Enterprise 64bit test drive and I’m experiencing the following error:

We have several intranet webpages for which we can authenticate using standard user credentials (user name and password) or certificate authentication using an activkey. Whenever I try to log into the intranet using the Class A certificate I received the error “This page can’t be displayed”, but, if I login to the same page using my user name and password the page displays without a problem.

I’m receiving the same error message with some partner pages that perform a security handshake using TLS or SSL; this case is a bit frustrating because there is no walk around to display them.

It seems that every time there is a certificate involved in the authentication of the webpage Internet Explorer 10 doesn’t display the page and I haven’t been able to break through this problem.

I have to remark that this happens even when the pages are added to the Trusted Sites under the Internet Explorer security tab and that it happens only in Windows 8. Also, the error is persistent while I’m on the site or at home connected through VPN. I’m not using Enhanced Protected Mode, and I’ve used the F12 Developer Tools to try to see why the request was blocked, but the console throws no error message.

I’ve follow the instructions in the below KB with no results:

Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?. Thanks in advance for your help.
