Recently read an article posted in bleepingcomputer.com which addresses Java vulnerability. My OS 7x64 IE9 and I have version 1.7. The article discusses the vulnerability to malware in this version. Also, no patches or solutions are forthcoming. No big
surprise as this is consistent with them notoriously being LAX to respond to program threats. Evidently earlier programs (java 6) are not susceptible to the malware. However, recommendations are to uninstall all Java Programs which I have done. IE appears
to be closely aligned with Java Platform. Although I realize that Java is not really necessary (unlike Adobe) what impact can I expect as a result of uninstalling Java.
