SSRS parameter slow response in IE8 comaprison to IE6

If I running the report in IE6 it is taking much lesser time for populating the parameter in dropdown than IE8.We are using just select statement form the table to populate the parameter.Can anybody suggest what is the reason behind this in SQL Server 2005?
