I’m having a problem that I’m not entirely sure how to attack…
The new setup is Citrix 2008 running IE9 and OWA 2010 SP1 for email.
The old setup is Citrix 2003 running IE8 and OWA 2010 SP1 for email.
The problem – A user wants to drag and drop emails from folder A to subfolder C, where subfolder C happens to be a subfolder of parent folder B.
In the old setup, the user could click and drag on the email, mouse over Folder B, and that parent folder would expand, revealing subfolder C. Then they would just put their mouse over subfolder C and release, dropping the email there.
In the new setup, dragging an email and mousing over parent folder B does not force the folder to expand revealing its sub folders.
Things I’ve tried (I have a different machine with the same exact setup as the new setup, just not inside Citrix):
- Doing the scenario above on my separate machine, where it works just fine in OWA
- Verifying every single IE/OWA setting is identical, which they are
- Attempting to drag/drop an email into a subfolder using the scenario above, but doing it inside of Hotmail, which works flawlessly in all 3 locations
I am at a complete loss for where to start, and I haven’t found the right google terms yet to find information on this issue. Any insight on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
