IE9 printing preferences

Hi,

I got IE 9.0.8 (KB2719177) installed on Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 SP1. My default printer is Zebra TLP 2844 with paper size 2"x4".

I open a local .htm file within IE and select Ctrl+P. In print dialog I select another printer (say HP LaserJet 2055) that has default page size set to "Letter".

When I hit print my single letter page is getting printed over 10 pages inside 2"x4" square on the top left corner of each page.

Of course if I go into printer properties after I select another printer and verify that paper size is set to "Letter" – htm file is printed on only one page.

The question is why printing defaults are taken from the default printer and are not updated when I change printer inside Print dialog ???

I have to have Zebra as my default printer for one of my applications to work properly, so I can't select another default printer.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

V
