I support a small business and have one PC with ie8, winXP and latest Adobe Reader. It forces total download of large PDF files (685MB) when the link is clicked (it appears to lock the browser). My newer Win7, IE9, latest Adobe Reader pc's will immediately show the first page and download only the pages viewed (same file/site). Does IE8 have this functionality? (can't put IE9 on winXP to make them the same)
