Error on Page,..Stops me from adding Search Provider to IE8

I have been trying to add a 2nd search provider, such as bing, to my list of providers.   Right now I only have 'Google'.  When I try to add ANY OTHER PROVIDER I get "Error on page" message at the bottom of the Microsoft Add Providers page.   It does not make any difference which provider I select, all give the same error.  The other day I found that I had "Calro" as a 2nd provider and I found out that this is Malware and removed it.    Please help
