when I launch explorer I notice in task manager that ieplorer.exe has very high i/o reads to the count of 6,266,446,043. I assume this is the reason it takes so long for ie to launch. Using internet setting in control panel I cleared all cached files which didn't improve anything. I have also diabled feeds and slices, removed all add ons.
