Pop-Up Blocker
IE 9 Pop-Up blocker won't turn off. I followed the instructions to turn it off. It's turned off. And yet, important website that require a new window to be opened, won't open. Even when I click on the Frequently Asked Question above
"Pop-Up Blocker won't Turn Off," the link won't be initiated. Something is wrong with my version of IE 9. How do I refresh the entire version so the pop-ups won't be blocked?

IE 9 Autofill Going Nuts..........
Windows 7 64 bit IE 9
All of a sudden when I go to my gmail account the userid and password fields on the sign on screen autofill and then hits enter.
I have no way of changing the account and or the password.
I tried deleteing all the internet explorer files from Internet Options Delete Browsing History and selecting all items.
Even on the Content tab delete autofill.
Deleted registry entries for autocomplete passwords form-based http-auth
Short of a system rebuild what am I missing?
I use Roboform on my home computer and it allows me to make changes before I go into a site.
Something is running on the computer doing this and not sure what it is.
Any ideas?

Pop-Up Blocker won't turn off
I work on various secure websites where links require a new window to be initiated. I'm not sure if my IE 9 version is keeping the new window from initiating or of the new windows are considered a "pop-up blocker." But in either case, I have
to use Mozilla firefox to work in the website. this "Start a New Question" website is a great example. I entered a Title, and the Relate Topics appeared. I clicked on a topic link and a new window should have been initiated. but it never
appeared. However in Mozilla Firefox, the link initiates a new window just fine. How do I get the new window initiated in IE 9?

My computer says I already have a newer version when I try to down load IE9. I can't find it anywhere on my computer. The closest I get is in "all programs" I type in Internet explorer, but all I see is IE with add ons disabled. My default browser is firefox
and I don't want to change, but I want to have IE available by way of a shortcut on my toolbar. As it is, I have no way to open IE.

Download link for IE9, dead?
I have tried to download IE9 through Google Chrome, Google Chrome Canary as well as Firefox. I have been trying for the last few days to access the download, and every time I do, each browser returns with the same message: can't find the server, is the address correct? are you connected to the internet? or has your firewall blocked your browser?
Can someone tell me what's up with view.atdtm.com? I have been able to download Windows Live Essentials and Microsoft Security Essentials.

Problem After Installing IE9 64bit.
Hi, I have just installed IE9 64bit which starts up OK but if I click on update for any software I have installed it opens IE but not one that will work, it just comes up NOT RESPONDING after clicking on it and I have to END PROCESS to get rid of it.
When I click on START and then ALL PROGRAMS there are two IEs shown, INTERNET EXPLORER and INTERNET EXPLORER(64BIT) the latter opens OK but the first one opens but does not respond.
It seems that the first one opens when any update is required by any software I have installed.
Internet Explorer is installed in PROGRAM FILES and PROGRAM FILES (X86), when I double click on iexplore.exe in IE in PROGRAM FILES, IE opens OK which must be the 64bit version but when I do it to the one in PROGRAM FILES (X86) it is the one which won't respond.
Has anyone had this problem or know of a solution?

Internet Explorer 8: Not letting me install ActiveX components
Windows has blocked this software because it cannot verify the publisher
this message shows when i try to install it, i have tried changing settings to allowed unpublished programs but this has not worked.
also i have installed chrome and firefox tried on both of these even with the IE TAB add-on and still nothing.
i have been trying to get this sorted for a few days and would appreciate any help with this issue

Security-Window opens in background
Hi.
First of all, thank you for reading my post.
In our company, we are switching from Windows XP / Office 2003 to Windows 7 / Office 2010 (IE 9). Now we encounterd a strange issue. We are using an intranet page, which normally uses the Windows credentials for login, on one of our PC, this is not possible, as we have to login under different users in our intranet page, so we enabled "Ask for username and password".
If we now open a DOC file from our intranet, a security Window needs to be filled out. On my PC with my login, the Window pops up in front of all other open windows, on the PC we are having the problem with, the window is somewhere in the background.
Do you have any ideas/suggestions on how to force this window in front of all other windows or even an idea on how to deaktivate this window?

Ie9 search bar help
When ever i try to type something in the search bar it re arranges my letter. If I put a capital letter it makes me type behind it and removes the type line cursor. Im on windows 7.

IE9 freezes when printing PDF documents
I have a customer running Windows 7 / IE9 / Adobe Reader X. When she goes to a website and views a PDF document within the browser and tries to print the document by clicking on the print icon in the icon bar that appears briefly when viewing the document, IE freezes and has to be killed by the Task Manager. Clicking the close icon won't close the window.
This happens on any site where there are PDF files. She can print out other types of documents from within IE but not PDFs. She can save the PDF to her PC and print them from within Reader and doing so does not affect IE. It doesn't matter if there is only 1 tab open or if there are multiple tabs.
The PC isn't affected at all, just IE. She can keep doing anything else while IE is frozen, but as I said, has to close IE by using the Task Manager.
Any idea what is going on in IE that would cause IE to freeze when trying to print a PDF document?
