This page describes the problem I'm having except that mine is visible only when editing a SharePoint 2010 wiki page using IE9.

I have tried all of the solutions suggested on this page and none have resolved the issue. Any help is much appreciated.

The IE9 doesn't work on the following situation. After clicking any of the button on the dialog box, nothing happen.
Whenever I navigate to the login.live.com page using IE9 I get a blank screen, I've tried starting in safe mode shutdown every add in, done the server revocation thing mentioned in other posts, used the 64bit client and 32 bit client, no joy. It works from Chrome, I've got vs2010 installed along with sql server 2008r dev edition and I'm running windows 7 home 64 bit on dell xps 14z.
Can anyone help with this?
As the title says Windows 7, browser stops working after some time passes.
This effects IE and Chrome. I can still ping www.google.com or it's IP address. (all other computers on the network are fine)
I've used both the wired and wireless connection without the same results.
I reboot and it works, I walk away from the work station and then boom no browsing.
I've turned off the firewall, released and renewed the IP, netsh winsock reset none off this worked.
I've gone into internet options and ensure that no "proxy' boxes are checked.
I've uninstalled the network card drives and restarted the machine.
I've ran Malwarebytes (no infections), ccleaner to check for registry problems. Nothing there.
I've disabled the power saving options and uncheck "let windows turn this device off"
I've also ran Norton and Mcgafee uninstallers just be sure there aren't any residue from those installed.
No bittorrent clients
So I'm online but can't browse on this one computer? what's the deal please Help!
IE 9 and Visio Viewer 2010 on Win7 does not work or am I missing something?
Somehow I have a copy of Explorer on my machine that is identified as "newer" when I try to reload Explorer 9 for Windows 7 (32 bit) from the Microsoft download site. The current copy of Explorer on the machine it isn't running properly and impacts both Google search function and Bing. It will not allow me to get full access to MS money page. It will also not allow use of Microsoft Silverlight. When I try to access MS Money, the machine now goes to a silverlight prompt but appears to be in a "loop" because it wil download silverlight but not allow it to be opened. I assume the current copy of Explorer that is on the machine must be removed and reinstalled. When I look in the Control Panel under Program uninstall, I can't find it on the list of programs. Where does the program reside and how do I remove it so I can reinstall it? I tried the "reinstall previous version" option but the response is there is no previous version to install.
As you can probably tell, I'm not computer literate but rather just a "user" so your help would be greatly appreciated and needs to be very basic. If I remove the current version will it also remove all the "Favorites" that were used with Google?
Thanks,
Bob-D
I am trying to begin implementing IPv6 within our network to explore using Direct Access. I'd like to start with Unique Local addresses (FC00::/7), to perform internal routing only. We do not yet have our ISP or web filter IPv6 enabled.
When I enable IPv6 on the router within one of our VLANs, machines on that network have a noticible delay in Internet Explorer reaching sites that have a global IPv6 address (Google, Facebook, etc.). It will eventually fail over to IPv4 and the page is displayed, but it takes about 15-20 seconds. Chrome and Firefox on this machine recognize that the route is unavailable, and come up with the pages right away. We do not have any proxy settings enabled on the clients. These systems are Windows 7 SP1 running IE 9 and all the latest patches through WSUS.
If I ping Google from this subnet, the IPv6 address is resolved but the pings come back unreachable pretty quickly. If I use ping -4, the IPv4 address responds.
Is there a way to make IE recognize that the route is invalid (since it's using a unique local address) and revert to IPv4 quicker?
Thanks!
P.S. I did ask this on the IE forums first and was suggested to ask here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie9-windows_7/internet-explorer-slow-with-ipv6-unique-local/1b87e047-391d-450f-be4b-562099e8f2e5

How to get IE9 to stop crashing when attempting to play a youtube video [from facebook]
#1 youtube videos play normally when viewing from IE9 directly.
#2 youtube videos play normally when viewing [in Facebook, using Opera,Google Chrome, and Firefox browsers] without crashing.
Adobe Flash player is current version for all browsers. This crash only happens in IE9. Doesnt matter if 32 or 64 bit browser is used, both will crash about 80% of the time when attempting to access a youtube video from the Facebook page.
Hardware acceleration is enabled and i do not wish to lose the advantage of using it by turning it off. Opera, Google Chrome, Firefox all play the videos in Facebook 100% of the time , using hardware acceleration. My computer is virus scanned and malware scanned on a daily basis as well as using C-Cleaner.
I am not looking for temporary solution to the problem, as i have other browsers that will work. Again, this problem only occurs when trying to access Youtube video that is linked to Facebook.
I have always used IE as my default browser and would like to continue doing so.
Your assistance would be much appreciated. Thank You.

Salute and a great big bottle of Pepto Bismol,
I'm using IE9 on Windows 7 Home Premium. Suddenly and without warning, a new popup tore into town like a 10 mile an hour gust of wind. Here's the site where I got this wonderful joy ...

I've got the Popup Settings set to highest and tonight amongst all things, a new popup. I do understand certain websites will get by the popup thingy in these webbrowsers but I'm wondering if there's something else one can do other than having the settings set to highest in Popup Blocker.
Please type kind of slowly so I will be able to understand the the replies. Thanks!

I have been working on my website but when I try to preview the changes on my Browser it won't refresh. In order for me to see the actual changes I have to start an "InPrivate Browsing"
I tried going into Tools / Options / Delete Browsing History / but it didn't fix the problem.
